Academic & Executive Function Coaching

Academic success isn’t just about intelligence. It’s about structure.

Many capable students struggle because they don’t yet have reliable systems for managing workload, organizing time, and starting assignments when they feel overwhelmed. In today’s fast-paced, technology-saturated environment, it’s easy to fall behind and lose confidence.

Through personalized 1:1 coaching, I help middle school and early high school students build the confidence, planning skills, and academic strategies that lead to greater independence and calmer evenings at home.

Personalized Academic Coaching for Middle School & Early High School Students
In-Person (Plymouth / Northville / Canton, MI Area) & Virtual Nationwide.

Coaching focuses on building systems, strengthening execution, and developing independent learners.

Core Coaching

1 session per week · 50 minutes

Designed for students who already have basic systems in place and need steady support to maintain progress.

Students strengthen planning skills, reinforce routines, and receive consistent accountability.

Enhanced Coaching

2 sessions per week · 50 minutes

Recommended starting point for most students.

Designed for students who benefit from consistent structure and guided implementation.

Two sessions per week allow for both strategy development and supported implementation. Students build systems, practice skills in real time, and stabilize routines more efficiently.

Intensive Coaching

3 sessions per week · 50 minutes

Designed for students who require consistent, high-frequency structure to rebuild academic habits and executive functioning skills.

This level provides guided work time, direct instruction, and accountability as foundational systems are built.

Some families choose this short-term to jumpstart progress before transitioning to a lower frequency.

What Coaching May Include

Coaching sessions may include guided work time when appropriate, particularly as students develop new planning and organization systems.

This guided support helps students apply strategies in real time while building confidence and consistency.

Students learn to manage their workload thoughtfully, take ownership of their responsibilities, and approach academic challenges with clarity.

The long-term goal of coaching is independence.

Many are navigating academic gaps, rising expectations, or constant digital distraction. They want to do well but struggle to manage their time, organize their workload, or know where to begin.

Coaching provides structure, clarity, and steady support as they rebuild confidence and develop independence.

College Essay Development

Investment

Initial Strategy Session — $105

This 50-minute session includes parent and student intake, academic review, goal clarification, and a recommended coaching plan.

Ongoing Coaching

Coaching is structured as a monthly enrollment to ensure consistency, accountability, and sustained progress.

All new students begin with the Academic Reset Phase, designed to establish foundational systems and momentum.

Session frequency is recommended based on level of need:

Core Coaching (1x per week) — $420/month
For students who are generally on track but need structure and accountability.

Enhanced Support (2x per week) — $840/month
Recommended for most students during the Reset Phase to accelerate stabilization and skill development.

Intensive Support (3x per week) — $1,260/month
For students requiring consistent guidance with focus, follow-through, and assignment completion.

Enrollment reserves a standing weekly time. Coaching continues month-to-month and is adjusted intentionally based on demonstrated progress and need.

Additional academic services are available as needed at the standard session rate.

Consistency & Scheduling

Coaching works best when sessions are predictable and consistent. Your student’s weekly time is reserved specifically for them.

• 24-hour notice is required to reschedule a session
• One rescheduled session per month may be accommodated based on availability
• Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered used

The Academic Reset Phase requires a minimum four-week enrollment to establish foundational systems and momentum.
Following this phase, coaching continues month-to-month.
Discontinuation requires written notice at least 7 days prior to the next billing cycle.

Ready to Get Started?

If you believe your student would benefit from structured academic support and steady accountability, the first step is to schedule an Initial Strategy Session.

During this session, we will review current academic patterns, identify breakdown points, clarify goals, and determine the appropriate level of ongoing support.

The Initial Strategy Session provides clarity for both the family and the student and ensures that coaching begins with a focused, intentional plan.
